Tullia Benedicta is originally from Ravenna, Italy, but is now making music out of London. Having already created a couple of albums, last year saw the release of a new longish EP for Soil Records. The tape is called Erratic Dancers and includes six of her best tracks so far. Four months later, I don’t think it has received the recognition it deserves. Similar in sound to e.g. Olivia, Tullia explores sounds that are on the border between club sounds and somewhat more experimental electro. The lyrics to tracks like “Critical Distortion” also show that she’s an artist with something on her mind.
