Yesterday we wrote about the new Source Material comp featuring Luz1e. As we mentioned, the German artist has a brand new 12″ out on the cool Berlin label Voitax. They’ve previously worked with eg. L/F/D/M and Cyan85, but I think Radical Optimism might be one of their best releases so far. The 4-track electro workout shows an amazing breadth that is also telling of Luz1e’s development over the years, from a sound based in house towards something darker. At first, a name shift to DJ Tabledance accommodated diverging aesthetics, but it appears it’s now back to just Luz1e. The new EP has been out for a week.
