The second release on Zela Archives, after the brilliant NO/ON tape features music from another Greek artist called Koketamc. This is a new alias of Zevla, the woman behind the Zela label. It seems like this new name was created to reflect a different musical approach, which sounds like industrial electro. Some of the tracks don’t even have percussion, but rely on other sounds to create rhythms. It’s refreshing without ever becoming too intense. Check out Zevla’s album from last year, if you want more pure noise. The Koketamc tape came out on NYE 2020.
