Spectral Fields is the Los Angeles duo of Dravier and Jason Simon. Dravier’s 2018 album for Not Not Fun was really good and since then he’s recorded a bunch of new music for his own Jungle Gym label. The first Spectral Fields album appeared last summer, in the shape of one long psychedelic jam. II was released as a follow-up in December and also sounds like it was recorded directly to tape. There are some really pronounced Velvet Underground vibes throughout this tape. Put it on and tune out.
