An album from last year that was easy to miss (guilty as charged) was Green-House’s mini-album Six Songs For Invisible Gardens that came out almost a year ago. Green-House is the project of LA-based Olive Ardizoni, who creates music with a similar sense of naivety as Tenniscoats. The six songs were created as a “communication with both plant life and the people who care for them” and mixes field recordings with organic ambient sounds, creating a warm and open atmosphere. Leaving Records, who also works with Nailah Hunter, included both artists in their collaborative work Galdre Visions that came out in October.
