Total Revenge is the name of a new project signed Ryan Pollie from Los Angeles. Having previously performed solo or as the Los Angeles Police Department, the new project has a throwback lofi sound that reminds the listener of everything from Beat Happening to Microphones. Recorded in a minimalist fashion with just one guitar pedal, it’s as conceptual as it is fun – melting hearts in the same way that Heavy Lids has in NYC. The album came out on tape thanks to Forged Artifacts in September.
