At War With False Noise is a Glasgow label that has been around for a while, but they’ve saved their 100th catalogue number for this special compilation called Votive Offerings. It includes tracks from five different local artists, including the great Hausfrau. It’s been a few years since we’ve heard from them, so both of these tracks are given a warm welcome. “Clean Hands” in particular is brilliant. Most of the tracks have a gothic slant, including Vom and side project Shalken. Charity Murder debuts here with two tracks from 2018.
