Bedouin Records is a label based in Bangkok that has released music for the likes of Ekman, Maenad Veyl, Dez Williams, Tzusing and many more. Their latest release is by Hiiro Issiki from Tokyo, whose 1000 Plateaux is an exceptional debut LP. About a year in the making, the record’s ten tracks are complex layerings of noise, industrial percussion but also etherial moments of beauty. “Katto” with what feels like a choir of almost human voices, manages to channel some of the emotions we’ve been having this year without emanating depression.
