In September Dais Records released Death Bells’ second album. Since moving to LA from Sydney, the original two members Canning and Veselis joined forces with musicians from other bands such as Fearing and Dock Hellis. The resulting album New Signs of Life appears three years after the debut and they’ve now stopped sounding like a more mainstream Low Life and embraced their new influences. The new album channels Wild Nothing, the dreamy post-punk of Craft Spells and the big choruses of Choir Boy. It’s unapologetic pop that is uniquely theirs, take it or leave it.
