Group is a mysterious artist from Spain, at least I think so, because of their two albums for Soil. Apart from evading search engines, all their tracks are named according to the format xxxxxx_xxxx, making them virtually impossible to remember. This year they’ve put out a split with Reeko as well as an album on the new Valencia label Industrial Complexx, which has only been around for a year. One thing that sets the ‘group’ apart is that they make electronic music with all-analogue equipment – often incorporating noise in their compositions. These vary significantly in both length and texture, making Dross a record you’ll want to listen to over and over.
