Soil Records from Spain have put out a wealth of great releases this year, like the double compilation Valley of Tears and a great 12″ from Filmmaker. People have really started to discover the Colombian scene, not in the least thanks to Soil. Earlier this year they released a cassette from Damaged Clock, who had a great release on Analogue Texture last year. On The Odissy that came out in April, we get more delicious electro full of grimy industrial sounds. I think it’s their first album, clocking in at 45 minutes. You won’t have dull moment with this record that sometimes stretches out into huge soundscapes like “All Need Love”.
