Italian artist Dona has returned after last year’s release on Crème Organization with a new EP for German label Mannequin. Teaming up with vocalist Aloth, the result is an unexpected delight that blends coldwave and acid. The title track of Mindscapes is an ominous affair with steadily building suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat. This is the first release on Mannequin from Dona, who is also known as DJ Plant Texture. The four-track EP came out about three months ago, after which the label have focused on a string of reissues.
