There’s a new archival release out on Music From Memory’s sublabel Second Circle, this time from German-born artist Can Oral (more commonly know as Khan, though he recorded under many aliases). He moved to New York together with the now well-known musician Jimi Tenor and ran a record shop in Soho called Temple. The Blue Box Sessions unearths four tracks recorded at the studio of the same name, more or less live, between 1993-1996. They were created with analogue instruments and show a nice variation that is testament to Khan’s talent.
