You’re probably surprised we haven’t mentioned Elsa Hewitt here before, the London musician who has won over the electro crowd with her mellow blend of experimental electronic music based around songs mostly written on guitar. Her amazing Citrus Paradisi album was reissued by Lobster Theremin and while we’re waiting for her next record, she has released a set of mostly improvisational interludes called Ghostcats. While you’d never imagine a joyful record like Citrus Paradisi being released in 2020, this one is still warmly comforting. Just listen to “Raspberry” and curl up under a blanket. The mini-album was released by Hewitt in June.
