2000 was one of those years when the list of releases was just staggering. In Sweden, The Hives and Håkan Hellström released seminal albums. Ed Harcourt’s first EP made a big impression. Broadcast, Yo la Tengo, Radiohead, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Microphones, Bright Eyes, Animal Collective etc all released great albums. Mirah, who appeared on some Microphones records also released her impressive debut LP on K Records. You Think It’s Like This... But Really It’s Like This is is turning 20 this year and has been reissued on Double Double Whammy. The second disc contains covers of the whole record from the liked of Mount Eerie, Sad13, Hand Habits and The Blow.
