WOW from Italy released one of my favourite albums last year and this year they did an intimate concert in a church in Guastalla. Earlier in the year they were supposed to tour Europe but ended up only play in Rome. Recordings from that set ended up on a new tape that came out on Maple Death during the summer. The a-side of the Falene tape consists of said live recordings, with new music on the b-side. The 11-minute title-track is a stunning piece that’s probably the closest anyone will ever get to the greatness of Broadcast.
