The Cowboys released an album back in April and already back with a new 5-track cassette. Lovers In Marble is a fine EP that contains some of the group’s best songs since last year’s excellent album. This time around it’s pure pop that reminds me of some of the most classic pop albums in history – The Beatles’ White Album, The Kinks’ Village Green Preservation Society etc. The productions sounds almost like it could have been an Abbey Road recording. Each song brings a different feel, but opening “Song For the Girls” is a real standout. Out on Feel It since last week.
