The pandemic works in mysterious ways. While lockdown has just been lifted in Melbourne, many labels have delayed their releases. Kris Baha’s Power Station label is one of them, opting instead to release another compilation in their Currents series. #2 leads off with a rather atmospheric track for head honcho Baha, and concludes with a unique collaboration between him and Autumns, that does sound a bit like My Bloody Valentine. We get two tracks from Exhausted Modern, based in Prague, and both are great. Also two new tracks from Cardopusher and from our favourite Sophie du Palais. Really can’t wait to hear a full release from the Dutch artist.
