One of my favourite artists from Mexico, Lokier, has a new EP out on her brand new label Light Strike. Now based in Berlin (like most electronic artists today) Yoan Rodriguez released a great 12″ on Pinkman last year and recently appeared on the Drama Queer compilation that we wrote about not long ago. The new record (digital only) is called Preech and features three massive tunes blending techno and trance to take you straight into the centre of that 90s rave we all long for. The snare on “Shadow” is almost perfect. Lokier also has a new track coming out on a compilation from Area Z.
