It’s not that long ago that we wrote about Unhuman’s latest collaboration with Petra Flurr. Now the Berlin-based Greek artist Manos Simotas is back with another Unhuman record, this time on Berlin label Bite. Voices of Distress hold four tracks of intense dance floor magic. The tempo doesn’t drop until the closing title-track, which you can easily imagine echoing through an empty warehouse at dawn. Industrial sounds abound throughout the mix, as in the pitch-black vision of “Infected Mother”. The record came out last month and only a handful of copies remain on the Bite bandcamp.
