One of the most interesting releases to come out of Sweden in recent times – the debut 45 from Polyester. This new punk group unveiled their first recording “Dale Dale” back in spring, via The Dustward which is the studio where these tracks were laid down. Led by vocalist Mona Lisa Stereo, “Dipsomaniac” is a scorching trip down the highway of punk history all the way back to Xray Spex and Poly Styrene, who’s an obvious influence. The b-side “Bite Me” is a big middle finger in the face of complacency and tired tropes of punk coolness. Out now on Stockholm label Push My Buttons.
