Here’s one we’ve been looking forward to for while, Toronto’s Badge Époque Ensemble second album Self Help will be released in late November on Telephone Explosion. You may remember our excitement with last year’s album and the following 12″. Once more they’ve enlisted the help of some talented guest vocalists like Dorothea Paas, who is joined by Meg Remy (U.S. Girls) on the jazzy first single “Sing a Silent Gospel”. The new record takes the listener on a journey through jazz, soul and dusty soundtracks across seven tracks.
