Penelope’s Fiance is the electro project of Fanis Tornikidis from Thessaloniki, Greece. Tornikidis has been very active recently, with an EP on the Interplanetary label last year, as well as on Lbeeze’s Up North Records. This year has saw an inclusion of a track on Glasgow label Clan Destine’s fith tape compilation. Just before that the (perhaps?) sixth Penelope’s Fiance album came out on Soil. The tape is called Negative Schemas and is packed with 14 tracks melding industrial techno, EBM and darkwave into one. It’s already been followed by another five self-released albums as well as a tape on Ernest D. from France. Try to keep up.
