Spæcialista from Bogota calls their music retroelectro. That’s only half the truth – on debut EP Pacta Sunt Servanda it’s an irreverent mix of EBM, industrial, post-punk and a bit of every experimental genre. The tape came out on local Colombian label Pildoras Tapes last month and is worth it for its wild remixes alone. Arcyniegas’ rework of “1N5UR63N73” is just awesome. You may remember the Spanish artist from the Pestilent Expressions 2 compilation we wrote about recently. “Pandemic Dance” might furthermore be one of the most spot-on tracks of the year.
