In September the long-awaited second album from Mexican band Mint Field arrives. The project started as a duo of Estrella del Sol Sánchez and Amor Amezcua, but is now a trio where Sánchez is joined by Sebastian Neyra and UK drummer Callum Brown. Sentimiento Mundial was recorded in London and includes collaborations with local artists like Cathy Lucas of Vanishing Twin. The sound is still based in shoegaze, but singles like “Natural” and “Delicadeza” (check out the video) also show a more etherial and jazzy side of the band. The 11-track album is being released by LA label Felte.
