Mike Nylons is the pseudonym of electronic musician János Borsos from Budapest. He released an EP on Farbwechsel in 2015 and returned to label this year for his first album Eneme I, which is possibly the first of a trilogy. Nylons is working with a rather freeform collage of beats and industrial noises here, as on the uncompromising “Entepede”. It’s an experimental record, but I really love the production that sometimes verges on pure static but always comes back into tonal progressions.
