Daphne Camf and Simona Castricum from Melbourne have finally announced their first album as SaD (Simona and Daphne), following their already classic single “Don’t Go” from last year. Saturn Rules the Material World is coming out on their own Trans-Brunswick Express at the end of September. Apart from “Don’t Go” there are six new original tracks as well as a cover of “Raining Pleasure”. The latter was originally released by Perth heroes The Triffids in 1984, which says something about the duo’s wide range of references, despite seeming like a typical coldwave group at first appearance.
