Hungarian musician Balázs Semsei has made a bunch of records as Norwell – most recently some great EPs for labels like Mechatronica and Lobster Theremin. Earlier this year he returned to Budapest label Crisis with the three-track EP Altered States. The title-track is dark electro at its best, and also comes remixed by Timothy J. Fairplay. Make sure you check out the Hősök benefit comp from Crisis as well, along with Norwell’s contribution “Shape the Future”. Then in June another EP called In Between turned up on Fanzine Records from Spain. Both are well worth your time.
