Romæo is a new artist from Sydney who released their first single yesterday. “Revealed” is a thing of beauty, and I’m not surprised since it was inspired by a Titian painting. Trip hop seems to have had a bit of a revival in recent years, and Romæo seems to improve. Like fellow Sydney artists Gauci, theirs is a sound for everyone who misses the 90s and in fact, Antonia Gauci helped out on mixing duties. “I basically materialised the conversation between the two Venuses”, says Liv about her first release as Romæo.
