What has now become colloquially known as bandcamp Friday is upon us again, and today I would like to point your attention to two great benefit compilations, the first which is the AID EP from Mechatronica. The Berlin label released this 11-track “EP” back in April to help support the label, their artists and mastering engineer. It includes contributions by artists associated with the label such as L.F.T., Cardopusher, Maelstrom and Teslasonic. Among the new discoveries for me were Gamma Intel from Rotterdam, who’ve previously worked with Pinkman, as well as Norwell from Budapest who’ve been very productive in the last few years.
