Liquid Face from Byron Bay released one of our favourite albums last year. Since then Cal Donald has released two new songs: “Teen Man” and “Animosity”, the latter being included on Blow Blood’s ALTA lockdown compilation. Both of these displayed great post-punk chops bordering on noise. Now Liquid Face is back with a new single, called 0.6.2.0. “Slave to the Wasteland” is an amazing track which leads my thoughts to DIÄT and has so much energy. I would love to have this on a vinyl pressing. “Blind Lead Blind” is also great and goes more synth punk with a pretty catchy keyboard line.
