Oakland label Digital Regress have just reissued Australian legends Slugfuckers only LP Transformational Salt (minus one track). The record, that originally came out on Dogfood Production System (also home to Severed Heads) in 1981, was recorded in Sydney is a cacophonous mix of noise and damaged punk. There was also a singles reissue on Berlin label Insolito a few years ago. One of the best tracks on the album is the meandering “Dolphins ≠ Fish”, that still sounds just as fresh today.
