The Melbourne three-piece Disco Junk are probably one of the nicest bands in the business, despite sounding seriously pissed with society. Their new tune “I’m No Good With Numbers But I Know Which Tram I’m On” is apparently about “gentrifying racists who suppress everyone else”. I love how it ends with a ‘fuck yes’ being left there in the mix. Together with “Printer Jam” it’s slapped onto one side of a split coming out on Goodbye Boozy. On the other side are three songs from the related project Collective Hardcore, the highlight of which is an in-joke of the punk youtube scene called “Jimmy vs Diat”.
