If you had ever doubted the greatness of Chicago noise band Coughs, check out this clip from Upset the Rhythm. Former member Jill Lloyd Flanagan has now been making music as Forced Into Femininity for many years, describing her art as eco-terror anti-performance. Her latest tape Bad Judgement came out on Decoherence a couple of days ago, sounding fierce. At the same time, she’s been manning the bass in new Chicago group CB Radio Gorgeous. Together with members of Negative Scanner, CCTV and Hellwoman they’ve made it unto vinyl with Kansas City label Thrilling Living. The four song self-titled 45 is the band’s second EP so far and it’s a blast.
