Here’s another benefit compilation, released today on Austin label Welsh Affair. The Dislocated tape includes four contributions from Mexican and Colombian artists (including Filmmaker) on one side and four from Texas on the other side. All proceeds are going to RAICES, an organization aiding immigrants and refugees since 1987. Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services is based in Texas and are doing important work. Década 2 has apparently been around in Mexico City since 1985, and a compilation of their 80s recordings came out in 2016.
