Turquoise Days was a duo from Jersey but who saw some success in Luxembourg in the early 80s. A few years ago Brooklyn label Minimal Wave released a retrospective LP of their work, titled Alternative Strategies. The record included material from their many tape releases as well as their classic 1984 single “Grey Skies” that came out on their own label. In March this year a new, double vinyl version called Further Strategies came out – adding another seven tracks and remastered sound. Luciano Brambilla and David Le Breton took the name Turquoise Days in 1981 (the the Bunnymen track) and create a wealth of underground new wave music.
