That YĪN YĪN record from six months ago was so great, wasn’t it? The Dutch group haven’t released anything new since then, but I wanted to tell you about the exuberant live set KEXP shared at the start of the month. Just like sets from Los Bitchos and L’eclair that we already mentioned, this was captured at La Chapelle back in September. It opens up with a blistering take on “Pingpxng” from the album, but the third song is an amazing number called “Chong Ki Tow” that is 10 minutes long. I’m guessing it’s new since it has turned up in a few other live videos. I hope the rest of their new material sounds like this!
