Shaking Heads, the Gothenburg band who released their excellent debut LP on Ken Rock a few years ago, are back with a new EP. The Application Demo came out in March and features rehearsal space recordings from last autumn and winter. The guitar sound on “Two Point Eight” rips and Jenny’s vocals are brimming with attitude. In Sweden 2.8 is the alcohol percentage of some of the beer sold in the supermarkets. The last song here, “Tänk på döden” has a Swedish title but is sung in English just like the rest. Which is probably a good thing.
