Loopsel is the solo project of Elin of Skiftande Enheter (plus Monokultur and Liechtenstein) and her first project to be released was originally a part of an installation created by Last Oblivion (artist duo Elena Biner and Tina Damgaard). The Spiral was first released on a tape by Amatör last year and then again on vinyl by Förlag För Fri Musik. This is a great piece of lo-fi electronic music working with samples and noise, befitting of Low Company. In April her first independent release followed – a self-titled EP out on new microscopic label Mammas Mysteriska Julebox. Loopsel leads off with the beautiful “Det som blir” full of guitar-picking that reminds me of Weekend.
