Red Axes is the Tel Aviv duo of Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, who’ve been making music for a decade already. Next week they are releasing their new, self-titled album on Dark Entries. While they have released some LPs previously, this is “their first effort written and conceived of as an album-length listening experience”, according to the label. They’ve been most prolific on the club scene, making 12″s for the dancefloor such as last year’s Sound Test. They’ve also made a bunch of remixes for e.g. L’imperatice last year, and Swedish artist Fontän. The new album mixes in elements of EBM, darkwave and post-punk.
