The Mall

Another St. Louis band here, The Mall. They put up their first track on bandcamp after Mark Plant (who is The Mall) realised he could get the punk.bandcamp.com url. A couple of months ago the full album Zone came out, and it’s a great concoction of post-punk not darkwave not too unlike The Serfs. The tape is already in its second pressing, so get in there quick. The Mall is a name that has me thinking about zombie flicks and yes, the mood is pretty dystopian here. So is his latest single “Hinkley Had a Vision”, which is a cover of Lansing, MI punk band The Crucifucks.
