It’s almost been 40 years since the first single by New Zealand masters The Chills was released by Flying Nun. “Rolling Moon” was meant to be accompanied by a video but, according to singer Martin Phillips, the results were “deemed largely too dark for use” and the footage was later lost. They’ve recently rediscovered the footage and director Peter Janes has spent the extra time at home during the last few weeks finishing a proper edit. So here it is finally, The Chills’ first music video. What a tune.
