Augustus Muller is a name adopted by Gus from Boy Harsher for a pair of film scores he created for Four Chambers. These have now been combined into a record he calls Machine Learning Experiments and has released on his own label Nude Club. It reminds me of Tangerine Dream’s excellent 1987 soundtrack to Near Dark. Definitely on the dystopian side, tracks like “Invasion” could easily have made the cut for Blade Runner or any of the more obscure entries into the cyberpunk canon. Some of the tracks, like “Four On the Floor” or “Taste of Metal” would have sat nicely on a Boy Harsher album too.
