Stadt (ШТАДТ) is a Moscow band making EBM-inflected synth pop and they’ve already been around for a few years, playing festivals in Eastern Europe. They still haven’t received much attention in the rest of the world, but hopefully that will change with their new album Мразь (translating into “scum”). Opening track “Human Collapse” features Qual which is, as you may know, the solo project of William from Lebanon Hanover. The album ends with a bonus track featuring live versions of two tunes from their 2019 record.
