Icy Men is a Kiev-based duo that’s heavily influenced by Joy Division. They released their first album The Queen of Sorrow back in 2018, but this week the follow-up is finally coming out. Low Light kinda sounds like a riff on New Order’s classic Low Life from 1985. But on tracks like “Life Is a Dream” they definitely bring their own bleak worldview to life. Who else would dedicate an album to the victims of the medieval inquisition these days? The two tracks at the end are remixes by Carlo Onda and Oudeis.
