The Bush is a Melbourne four-piece that I was lucky enough to catch live at The Fitzroy Pinnacle not long ago. They released their very first song at the start of the year, the beguiling “Purple”. Landing somewhere between Rose Melberg and Beat Happening, The Bush is also a group that is more or less born by the captivating voice of their singer and guitar player. After most of Australia went into isolation, the group chose to release their second single – the rather whimsical “I Sit Around (Quarantine)”. But there’s more to come, the group recorded four songs with Joey from King Gizzard.
