Public Practice is a new group from NYC playing an unusual mix of post-punk, disco and 80’s underground pop. Through their influences they actually remind me a lot of Parsnip. After sweet EP, they released their first single from upcoming Gentle Grip last year. With a “Disposable” riff, the a-side is an instant hit. Their debut album is out in May on the Wharf Cat label, and also includes brand new single “Compromised”. Check out their split-flexi with Flasher and Gong Gong Gong from last year too.
