Filmmaker recently played in Melbourne, at the oddly chosen venue The Gasometer. As a part of a compilation and tour organised by Synthstrom to promote their latest gadget, it was a mixed crowd. The double-vinyl Release is a mixed bag but Filmmaker’s contribution “The Threshold” is great. He’s heading for another busy year of releases as his second 2020 album was released today on Paris label OKVLT. Dimensional is his perhaps darkest album to date, with pieces like “The Egregore” and “The Devourer”. Check out the whole tape, and stay peeled for another EP coming soon on Opal Tapes.
