Chicago label Chicago Research are on a roll. Apart from releasing a string of great records from Civic Center and Bruised, they’ve also worked with the producer, vocalist, and instrumentalist who has recorded as Death Valley. That project was a synth-laden affair. But since then she’s finished three more releases using the name Club Music. Featuring Soviet-themed art, these records have focused more on an EBM sound that people just seem to love. The most recent one is called Beyond New Beat and is a tape with seven tracks.
