Nasal Spray is a new garage group from Melbourne made up of James Ramsay, Sam Beulke, Toby Johnson and Taylor Jardine. A few days ago they released their first tape, which they’ve called Mix Tape Vol. 1. This is far from a hiphop mixtape though. Psychedelic guitar lines intermingle with congas and and an instrumental that almost sounds like Dope Lemon. If you like Donovan, 12-string guitars and nasal snotty vocals you’ll dig this band for sure. They’ve been doing gigs around the country this year and are rounding out their “Summer of Love” tour with a gig at Cactus Room in Melbourne – this Saturday together with Phaedo, The Thing From Spring and Grove.
